StarCare Pharmacy is a pharmacy in Salem, VA, centered on long term care pharmacy services. We are professional and customer-centric.
Pharmacy technician experience required.
Long term care experience preferred, but not required.
QS1 knowledge preferred.
Our organization is looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to fill orders for our long term care residents. The ideal candidate for this position is responsible, detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn. Pharmacy is open 8:30am-9pm Mon-Fri and 12-6pm Saturday. Eight hour shifts rotate among staff.
Responsibilities:
- Filling medication orders in compliance packaging
- Performing data entry
- Preparation of medications for delivery to nursing units
- Set example of excellent customer service to nurses, residents, fellow staff
- Other tasks as requested
